The Pope John Paul II Jaguars softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Sumner Cowboys to 8 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Pope John Paul II moves its record to 15-3 on the year. The Jaguars host Pearl River (Pearl River, LA) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 29. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 5-5. Pearl River won 17-3 in their recent league game against St. Scholastica (Covington, LA)
In their next game, the Cowboys clash with the Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 30. Sumner will attempt to move on its 14-13 season record.
