In Tuesday's league outing, the host Sam Houston Broncos softball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the Southside Sharks.
Coming up next, the Broncos battle the Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA) in a 5A District 3 outing, on Tuesday, March 28. Sam Houston will attempt to upgrade on its 24-1 season record. The Lions enter the outing with a 11-7 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Highland Baptist Christian (New Iberia, LA).
The Sharks (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against New Iberia (New Iberia, LA). The Yellowjackets enter the 5A District 3 outing with a 14-12 record. In their last outing, New Iberia was routed by Sulphur (Sulphur, LA), 20-2, in a league outing.
