The Shikellamy Braves softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Shamokin Area Indians to 11 in the Braves non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Shikellamy moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Braves host Montoursville (Montoursville, PA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league game on Thursday, March 30. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 2-0. Montoursville won 8-6 in their recent non-league game against Loyalsock Township (Williamsport, PA)

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Mifflinburg Wildcats (Mifflinburg, PA) in a Heartland II game, on Tuesday, April 4. Shamokin Area will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 2-2 record after their 19-8 non-league win over Warrior Run (Turbotville, PA).
