Washington Panthers (Washington, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Streator Bulldogs (Streator, IL), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Normal University for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 1.

With the loss, Streator falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL) to face the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 29. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. LaSalle-Peru lost 9-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Rock Falls (Rock Falls, IL)
