Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Amboy Clippers (Amboy, IL) and the host West Carroll Thunder (Savanna, IL), saw Amboy's baseball squad beat West Carroll by a margin of 11-0.

Coming up next, the Clippers play the Forreston Cardinals (Forreston, IL) in a Northwest Upstate Illini - East battle, on Tuesday, April 2. Amboy will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Cardinals enter the battle with a 3-4 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Andrew (Tinley Park, IL).
