In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting La Cueva Bears baseball team scored a nice 10-1 victory over the Artesia Bulldogs.
The Bears (11-1) will now prepare for their game against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors go into the non-league game with a 11-2 record. In their last game, Sandia overcame Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM), 8-5, in a non-league game.
