The Welsh Greyhounds (Welsh, LA) baseball trounced the visiting Bell City Bruins (Bell City, LA), 12-5 in Thursday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Greyhounds encounter the Notre Dame Pioneers (Crowley, LA) in a 2A District 5 contest, on Monday, April 1. Welsh will attempt to better on its 13-5 season record. The Pioneers come into the contest with a 12-10 record after their 4-2 league win over DeQuincy (DeQuincy, LA).
