Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Unioto Shermans (Chillicothe, OH) and the host Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs (Carroll, OH), saw Unioto's baseball squad edge Bloom-Carroll by a count of 3-2.

Coming up next, the Shermans play the Huntington Huntsmen (Chillicothe, OH) in a Scioto Valley battle, on Monday, April 1. Unioto will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Huntsmen enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Federal Hocking (Stewart, OH).
