The Bloom Blazing Trojan baseball team (Chicago Heights, IL), was overwhelmed 9-2 in Thursday's non-league outing with the visiting Manteno Panthers (Manteno, IL)

The Panthers now hold a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Peotone for a Illinois Central Eight outing on Friday, March 29. Manteno will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to St. Anne (St. Anne, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-4.

In their next game, the Blazing Trojan battle the Rich Township Raptors (Olympia Fields, IL) in a Southland test, on Monday, April 1. Bloom will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
