In Thursday's non-league game, the host Hampshire Whip-Purs baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses.
The Whip-Purs (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Fremd (Palatine, IL). The Vikings go into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Fremd was edged by Metea Valley (Aurora, IL), 6-5, in a non-league game.
