Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Willow Lions (New Orleans, LA) and the host Eleanor McMain Mustangs (New Orleans, LA), saw Willow's baseball squad knock off Eleanor McMain by a count of 20-1.

Coming up next, the Lions play the St. Martin's Episcopal Saints (Metairie, LA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 30. Willow will attempt to move on its 14-6 season record. The Saints enter the battle with a 5-7 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Metairie Park Country Day (Metairie, LA).

The Mustangs now possess a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host De La Salle for a 4A District 9 battle on Monday, April 1.
