The Gallup Bengals baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes to 4 in the Bengals non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bengals (4-10) will now prepare for their match against Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM). The Lynx go into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Rehoboth Christian was overwhelmed by Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM), 11-0, in a non-league match.
The Elks/Elkettes (0-14) will now prepare for their match against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Pintos go into the 4A District 2 match with a 2-7 record. In their last match, Moriarty was overwhelmed by Belen (Belen, NM), 13-2, in a non-league match.
