Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Greater Latrobe loses to Hempfield Area

In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Hempfield Area Spartans baseball team scored a tight 9-6 victory over the Greater Latrobe Wildcats.
The Spartans (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Central Catholic (Pittsburgh, PA). The Vikings go into the WPIAL 6A 2 game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Central Catholic by North Allegheny (Wexford, PA), 10-3, in a non-league game.
The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Laurel Highlands (Uniontown, PA). The Mustangs go into the WPIAL 4A 2 game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Laurel Highlands by Highlands (Natrona Heights, PA), 11-6, in a non-league game.
