Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Mexico Tigers (Mexico, NY) and the host Hannibal Warriors (Hannibal, NY), saw Mexico's baseball squad beat Hannibal by a margin of 8-1.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Canastota Red Raiders (Canastota, NY) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 3. Mexico will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.

The Warriors now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Port Byron for a Section 3 Patriot battle on Saturday, April 6.
