The Ponchatoula Green Wave baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Mandeville Skippers to 1 in the Green Wave league victory on Thursday.

The Green Wave (13-6) will now prepare for their match against Slidell (Slidell, LA). The Tigers go into the 5A District 6 match with a 15-7 record. In their last match, Slidell edged Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA), 9-3, in a non-league match.
