The Vanden Vikings volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Benicia Panthers to 0 in the Vikings non-league victory on Thursday.

The Vikings now have a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host McClatchy for a game on Tuesday, April 2. Vanden will meet a Lions team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sierra (Manteca, CA). The Lions record now stands at 0-4.

The Panthers (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Alhambra (Martinez, CA). The Bulldogs enter the game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Alhambra dropped by Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
