In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Catawba Ridge Copperheads soccer squad scored a close 4-0 triumph over the Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers.
The Copperheads (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against York (York, SC). The Cougars come into the AAAA Region 3 battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, York by Buford (Lancaster, SC), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Buccaneers (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Knights come into the NCISAA Charlotte battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Charlotte Christian by Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
