Spartanburg Vikings (Spartanburg, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting High Point Academy Grizzlies (Spartanburg, SC), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Dorman for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 9.
With the loss, High Point Academy falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Thornwell (Clinton, SC) to battle the Saints in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 10. The Saints enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
