The Benedictine Cadets triumphed over the visiting Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins lacrosse team by a score of 17-9 in Thursday's league match.
With the win, Benedictine improves its record to 1-5 on the year. The Cadets host Fork Union Military Academy (Fork Union, VA) to meet the Blue Devils in a VISAA Division 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
The Dolphins now sport a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Nansemond-Suffolk Academy for a Tidewater Independent challenge on Friday, April 5. Cape Henry Collegiate will meet a Saints squad coming off a 18-10 league loss to Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA). The Saints record now stands at 3-3.
