Jenks Trojans (Jenks, OK) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Charles Page Sandites (Sand Springs, OK), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Trojans face the Bishop Kelley Comets (Tulsa, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 2. Jenks will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Comets enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Bixby (Bixby, OK).
The Sandites now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Northwest Classen for a 5A District 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. Charles Page will face a Knights team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Union (Tulsa, OK). The Knights record now stands at 2-7.
