South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting East Paulding Raiders (Dallas, GA), 2-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans face the Cass Colonels (White, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 9. South Paulding will attempt to better on its 11-1 season record. The Colonels enter the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 4-2 league win over Calhoun (Calhoun, GA).

The Raiders now have a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodstock for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 9. East Paulding will face a Wolverines team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Sprayberry (Marietta, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-8.
