In Thursday's non-league game, the Menchville Monarchs (Newport News, VA) soccer squad tipped the host Jamestown Eagles (Williamsburg, VA), by a final score of 3-2.
The Monarchs (6-0) will now prepare for their game against Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA). The Warriors go into the Peninsula game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Kecoughtan nipped Hampton (Hampton, VA), 13-1, in a league challenge.
The Eagles now have a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tabb for a Bay Rivers challenge on Thursday, April 11.
