The Defiance Bulldogs softball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Archbold Blue Streaks to 2 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Defiance improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bulldogs host Elmwood (Bloomdale, OH) to clash with the Royals in a non-league game on Saturday, March 30. The Royals come into the game with a record of 0-1. Elmwood lost 11-4 in their recent non-league game against IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL)

In their next game, the Blue Streaks clash with the Stryker Panthers (Stryker, OH) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 1. Archbold will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Paulding (Paulding, OH).
