The Purple Raiders now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Springfield for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 30. Bloomington will battle a Senators squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Glenwood (Chatham, IL). The Senators record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Mahomet-Seymour falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Lincoln (Lincoln, IL) to battle the Railsplitters in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 30. The Railsplitters enter the challenge with a record of 1-5. Lincoln won 12-6 in their recent league challenge against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL)
