Calhoun Warriors (Hardin, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Brown County Hornets (Mt. Sterling, IL), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to O'Fallon for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 29. Calhoun will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 5-3 league loss to Alton (Alton, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, Brown County falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Hornets host Mendon Unity (Mendon, IL) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 29. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
