Roosevelt Mustangs (Eastvale, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Centennial Bulldogs (Las Vegas, NV), 9-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saint Francis for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 28. Roosevelt will battle a Lancers squad coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Hollister (Hollister, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 7-0.

With the loss, Centennial falls to 13-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Calexico (Calexico, CA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 29. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 7-6. Calexico won 7-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Yucaipa (Yucaipa, CA)
