Louisiana High School Softball - Slidell gets by Covington

March 28, 2024: Slidell, LA 70458

Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Slidell Tigers (Slidell, LA) and the visiting Covington Lions (Covington, LA), witnessed Slidell's softball squad tip Covington by a count of 14-13.

The Tigers now sport a 21-5 record. They play next when they host Franklinton for a non-league match on Monday, April 1. Slidell will meet a Demons squad coming off a 22-6 league loss to Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA). The Demons record now stands at 10-9.

With the loss, Covington moves to 13-12 on the season. The Lions travel to Northshore (Slidell, LA) to meet the Panthers in a 5A District 6 match on Tuesday, April 2. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 14-11.
