The Edgewood Mustangs softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Eastern Greene Thunderbirds to 0 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Edgewood improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Bloomington South (Bloomington, IN) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 2. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 3-1. Bloomington South lost 7-4 in their recent non-league game against Columbus East (Columbus, IN)

In their next game, the Thunderbirds clash with the North Daviess Cougars (Elnora, IN) in a Southwestern Indiana game, on Friday, March 29. Eastern Greene will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 1-2 record after their 16-9 non-league loss to Sullivan (Sullivan, IN).
