Granville Blue Aces (Granville, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Northridge Vikings (Johnstown, OH), 6-0 in a league challenge.

The Blue Aces now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakota East for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 30. Granville will battle a Thunderhawks squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Cooper (Union, KY). The Thunderhawks record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Northridge falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Newark Catholic (Newark, OH) to battle the Green Wave in a Licking County challenge on Monday, April 1. The Green Wave enter the challenge with a record of 3-0. Newark Catholic won 6-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Fredericktown (Fredericktown, OH)
