The Hope Bobcats (Hope, AR) softball routed the visiting Nevada Blue Jays (Rosston, AR), 20-4 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Bobcats (6-8) will now prepare for their bout against Arkadelphia (Arkadelphia, AR). The Badgers go into the 4A Region 7 bout with a 2-6 record. In their last bout, Arkadelphia toppled Ouachita (Donaldson, AR), 7-3, in a non-league bout.
The Blue Jays now possess a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Ida for a 1A Region 7 bout on Friday, March 29. Nevada will confront a Lions squad coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Jessieville (Jessieville, AR). The Lions record now stands at 2-3.
