New Mexico High School Softball - Hozho Academy loses to Shiprock

The Shiprock Chieftains softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Hozho Academy Wolves to 8 in the Chieftains non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Shiprock improves its record to 4-5 on the year. The Chieftains travel to Zuni (Zuni, NM) to clash with the Thunderbirds in a non-league game on Friday, March 29. The Thunderbirds come into the game with a record of 2-4. Zuni won 12-11 in their recent non-league game against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent (, )
In their next game, the Wolves clash with the Newcomb Skyhawks (Newcomb, NM) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 2. Hozho Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
