Junction City/St. Xavier Bluejays (Junction City, KS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Southeast Golden Buffalo (Wichita, KS), 20-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bluejays now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Emporia for a Centennial challenge on Friday, April 5.

With the loss, Southeast falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Golden buffalo host North (Wichita, KS) to face the RedHawks in a Greater Wichita City challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The RedHawks enter the challenge with a record of 0-4. North lost 26-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Conway Springs (Conway Springs, KS)
