Kennett Indians (Kennett, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Neelyville Tigers (Neelyville, MO), 11-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they host Senath-Hornersville for a challenge on Tuesday, April 2.

With the loss, Neelyville falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Ste. Genevieve (Ste. Genevieve, MO) to face the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 29. The Dragons enter the challenge with a record of 4-2. Ste. Genevieve won 20-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Arcadia Valley (Ironton, MO)
