Utah High School Softball - Provo topped by Lone Peak

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Lone Peak Knights (Highland, UT) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Provo Bulldogs (Provo, UT), by a margin of 18-3.
With the triumph, Lone Peak moves its record to 1-5 on the year. The Knights travel to Westlake (Saratoga Springs, UT) to play the Thunder in a 6A Region 3 contest on Tuesday, April 9. The Thunder come into the contest with a record of 4-6.
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Uintah Utes (Vernal, UT) in a 4A Region 8 contest, on Friday, March 29. Provo will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Utes come into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 10-9 non-league loss to Union (Roosevelt, UT).
