Scranton Rockets (Scranton, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Nemo Vista Red Hawks (Center Ridge, AR), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Rockets now own a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host County Line for a 1A Region 1 West challenge on Monday, April 1. Scranton will battle a Indians squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Mountainburg (Mountainburg, AR). The Indians record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Nemo Vista falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Red hawks host Guy-Perkins (Guy, AR) to battle the Thunderbirds in a 1A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Thunderbirds enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
