Southeastern Local Trojans (South Charleston, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Northwestern Warriors (Springfield, OH), 15-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Greeneview for a Ohio Heritage South challenge on Monday, April 1.

With the loss, Northwestern falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Bellefontaine (Bellefontaine, OH) to battle the Chieftains in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 29. The Chieftains enter the challenge with a record of 2-0.
