Illinois High School Softball - Paris nudges Salt Fork

Paris Tigers (Paris, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hutsonville/Palestine for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 29. Paris will face a Tigers squad coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Red Hill (Bridgeport, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Salt Fork falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Storm travel to LeRoy (LeRoy, IL) to face the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 30. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 7-0. LeRoy won 23-1 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Teresa (Decatur, IL)
