The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Pocahontas Redskins (Pocahontas, AR) and the visiting Trumann Wildcats (Trumann, AR), saw Pocahontas's softball squad nip Trumann by a count of 9-5.

The Redskins now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wynne for a 4A Region 3 test on Monday, April 1.

The Wildcats (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Southside (Batesville, AR). The Southerners come into the test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Southside was routed by Brookland (Brookland, AR), 7-5, in a league test.
