California High School Baseball - Aquinas holds off Santa Margarita

The Aquinas Falcons baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Santa Margarita Eagles to 3 in the Falcons non-league win on Friday.
The Falcons (8-1) will now prepare for their game against Yorba Linda (Yorba Linda, CA). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 6-8 record. In their last game, Yorba Linda was overwhelmed by Alta Loma (Alta Loma, CA), 4-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Eagles play the Mater Dei Monarchs (Santa Ana, CA) in a Trinity game, on Tuesday, April 1. Santa Margarita will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Monarchs go into the game with a 10-2 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA).
