The Shawnee Mission East Lancers baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Blue Valley Tigers to 10 in the Lancers non-league win on Friday.

The Lancers now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mill Valley for a Sunflower test on Tuesday, April 1. Shawnee Mission East will clash with a Jaguars team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Blue Valley Northwest (Overland Park, KS). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Blue Valley drops to 0-1 on the year. The Tigers travel to Bishop Miege (Shawnee Mission, KS) to clash with the Stags in a Eastern Kansas test on Tuesday, April 1. The Stags go into the test with a record of 1-2. Bishop Miege lost 13-4 in their recent league test against St. James Academy (Lenexa, KS)
