The Halfway Cardinals baseball team scored 19 runs and held the host Climax Springs Cougars to 2 in the Cardinals league win on Friday.

The Cardinals now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Humansville for a non-league test on Monday, March 31. Halfway will play a Tigers team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Hermitage (Hermitage, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Climax Springs drops to 1-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to Wheatland (Wheatland, MO) to play the Mules in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. The Mules go into the test with a record of 7-0. Wheatland won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Weaubleau (Weaubleau, MO)
