In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Davenport Bulldogs baseball team scored a close 9-8 victory over the Pawhuska Huskies.
The Bulldogs (11-2) will now prepare for their game against Stroud (Stroud, OK). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 7-5 record. In their last game, Stroud held off Prague (Prague, OK), 5-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Huskies face the Caney Valley Trojans (Ramona, OK) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 31. Pawhuska will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 4-3 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Nowata (Nowata, OK).
