The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Graves County Eagles (Mayfield, KY) and the visiting Dyer County Choctaws (Newbern, TN), saw Graves County's baseball team gain a win over Dyer County by a tally of 5-1.

The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hopkinsville (Hopkinsville, KY). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Hopkinsville was overwhelmed by University Heights (Hopkinsville, KY), 4-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Choctaws face the Crockett County Cavaliers (Alamo, TN) in a 3A District 13 battle, on Monday, March 31. Dyer County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Cavaliers enter the battle with a 7-2 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY).
