In Friday's non-league game, the visiting East Carter Redbirds baseball team scored a nice 12-0 victory over the Viburnum Blue Jays.
The Redbirds (6-1) will now prepare for their game against South Iron (Annapolis, MO). The Panthers enter the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, South Iron was overwhelmed by Potosi (Potosi, MO), 15-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Blue Jays face the Kingston Cougars (Cadet, MO) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 31. Viburnum will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 3-5 record after their 6-4 non-league win over Steelville (Steelville, MO).
