In Friday's league bout, the Northern Patriots (Owings, MD) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD), by a tally of 11-0.
Next up, the Patriots encounter the St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 31. Northern will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 5-4 record after their 3-2 non-league win over McDowell (Erie, PA).
The Hornets (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against La Plata (La Plata, MD). The Warriors enter the non-league bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, La Plata was overwhelmed by Chopticon (Morganza, MD), 8-1, in a non-league bout.
