The High Point Christian Academy Cougars baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion to 2 in the Cougars non-league win on Friday.
The Cougars now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grace Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, March 29. High Point Christian Academy will clash with a Crusaders team coming off a 12-9 non-league win over The Covenant (Charlottesville, VA). The Crusaders record now stands at 9-2.
With the defeat, Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill drops to 4-4 on the year. The Lion host Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC) to clash with the Lions in a non-league test on Saturday, March 29. The Lions go into the test with a record of 4-4. Asheville Christian Academy lost 10-0 in their recent league test against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA)
