Washington High School Baseball - Roosevelt holds off Lakeside

The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Roosevelt Roughriders (Seattle, WA) and the visiting Lakeside Lions (Seattle, WA), saw Roosevelt's baseball team beat Lakeside by a margin of 5-1.
The Roughriders (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against West Seattle (Seattle, WA). The enter the 3A Metro battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, West Seattle held off O'Dea (Seattle, WA), 4-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Lions face the Bishop Blanchet Bears (Seattle, WA) in a 3A Metro battle, on Monday, March 31. Lakeside will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Bears enter the battle with a 5-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Lincoln (Seattle, WA).
