The St. John Bosco Braves (Bellflower, CA) baseball got by the visiting Layton Lancers (Layton, UT), 4-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Braves now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Orange Lutheran for a Trinity challenge on Tuesday, April 1. St. John Bosco will clash with a Lancers team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Arcadia (Arcadia, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 11-1.
With the defeat, Layton drops to 0-7 on the year. The Lancers travel to West Ranch (Valencia, CA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 29. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 9-5. West Ranch won 4-0 in their recent league challenge against Saugus (Saugus, CA)
