The Rison Wildcats triumphed over the host Magnet Cove Panthers baseball squad by a score of 13-2 in Friday's non-league outing.
Next up, the Wildcats encounter the Dumas Bobcats (Dumas, AR) in a 3A Region 8 outing, on Tuesday, April 1. Rison will attempt to advance on its 7-3 season record. The Bobcats enter the outing with a 1-7 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Hamburg (Hamburg, AR).
The Panthers (3-8) will now prepare for their outing against Fordyce (Fordyce, AR). The Redbugs enter the 2A Region 8 outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Fordyce achieved victory over Drew Central (Monticello, AR), 7-6, in a non-league outing.
