Illinois High School Baseball - Peoria Notre Dame defeats Metamora

March 28, 2025: Metamora, IL 61548

The Peoria Notre Dame Irish baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Metamora Redbirds to 1 in the Irish non-league win on Friday.

The Irish now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Normal Community for a Big Twelve test on Monday, March 31. Peoria Notre Dame will play a Ironmen team coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Athens (Athens, AL). The Ironmen record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Metamora drops to 2-4 on the year. The Redbirds travel to Champaign Central (Champaign, IL) to play the Maroons in a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. The Maroons go into the test with a record of 4-3.
